Downtown Tiltin’

Lately I’ve been doing a lot of thinking on what type of photographer I am… and what type of photographer I want to be. To be honest, the photography that inspires me the most under the “events” category would be wedding photography; and under the “portrait” category it’s definitely engagement sessions.

That being said, I have my first engagement session this week and since I’ve always loved the look of using tilt-shift lenses for engagement portraits I decided to rent a tilt-shift lense this weekend in order to get familiar with it. It’s kind of hard to describe what kind of image a tilt-shift lense produces, but I’m sure by looking at the images you’ll have a “oooh, it’s that kind of image” type of moment lol.
